STEM·LAB

Split any song into vocals, drums, bass & other.

Drop a track on the app; four stems land in a folder next to it. Everything runs on your Mac's GPU. Your music never leaves your machine.

⬇ DOWNLOAD FOR MAC

The app is unsigned, so macOS objects the first time you open it. Go to System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway. You only do this once.

What You Get

vocals.wavMel-Band Roformer
drums.wavhtdemucs_ft
bass.wavhtdemucs_ft

Two neural nets run in parallel; the best output wins for each stem. Takes wav, mp3, flac, m4a. ~5 minutes for a 4-minute song.

How It Works

  1. Download the DMG, drag Stem Lab to Applications.
  2. Open it once via "Open Anyway" — first run installs the audio engine.
  3. Drop any song on the window or the icon.
  4. Hit Open Stems Folder — the stems sit in a folder next to your song.

Private by Design

Fully offline. Both models run on your Mac’s GPU. There is no server side: no uploads, no account, no telemetry.

Built as the free alternative to cloud stem splitters. The entire pipeline is open source if you’d rather read it or build it yourself.
